Codetch FAQ

What is Codetch?

Codetch is a code editing program. Currently it features many tools for web editing but others are planned for additional languages.

What's with that crazy name?

Ah, Codetch. Well, the name can be broken up into two parts - "code" and "etch". The meaning becomes clear when you consider that "etch" is a synonym for "write", and code is well, code. So Codetch (code-etch) must deal with writing code! ^_^

Can I use the program?

If you can run Firefox, Thunderbird, or Mozilla on your computer and have one of them installed, then yes, you too can use Codetch. The program currently installs as an extension for either of the before mentioned applications. So if you are using one of them, you should also be able to install Codetch. Codetch is free of course, and is open source.

How can I help?

Help in development by sending bug reports to bugs@codetch.com. Make sure to include your OS and version information too. If you have ideas or want to contribute to the project send an email to info@codetch.com.
